Boris Schellekens
Research Fellow
Boris Schellekens is a Data Analyst and researcher specialising in climate change mitigation issues, including fossil fuel subsidies, energy-intensive industries, and industrial policy. As a Research Fellow at SOMO, he conducts research using large-scale financial datasets to analyse topics such as monopoly structures, shareholder payouts, and the financing strategies of the fossil fuel industry and other related sectors.
Boris earned a Master’s degree in Air Transport and Operations from TU Delft, complemented by studies in corporate finance at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), and completed his thesis at Kenya Airways in Nairobi.
