In this joint open letter one hundred civil society organisations, among which SOMO, ask Michelle Bachelet (the new High Commissioner for Human Rights at the United Nations) to publish an online, dynamic, and regularly updated Database of businesses active in Israeli settlements, as was mandated in UN Human Rights Council 31/36 in 2016. In their letter they groups explain why the ongoing process to establishment of the Database, published online and regularly updated, is significant for their work the promotion of international law and corporate accountability, a common goals shared by States, NGOs, and the work of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
