TNI and SOMO wrote a letter to the Dutch minister of Foreign Affairs on the UN Binding Treaty. This week, the third session takes place in Geneva, Switzerland, with over 200 representatives from global civil society, including victims of human rights violations and abuses by corporations. Negotiations about the elements of the binding treaty end Friday 27 October.

This letter calls on the Dutch government, and on the EU, to explicitly commit to the ongoing process towards a draft text, and towards the next negotiation sessions of the working group until an international legally binding instrument is established.
