A research focusing on electronic industry in Poland shows that improvements of working conditions are very much needed. In the drive to keep prices as low as possible, electronics companies have been shifting their production to countries where labour costs are low and environmental standards are not so strict. The production has been outsourced to China, India, Thailand, the Philippines, Mexico but it also takes place in EU countries like Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
