Will Dutch multinationals pay their taxes this time?

In April of this year, Dutch political parties GroenLinks (Greens), SP (Socialists) and PvdA (Social-Democrats) proposed a new law in the battle against corporate tax avoidance. The reason for this new legislation was the media’s disclosure of the fact that Shell hasn’t paid any income tax in The Netherlands for years.
