René Vlak works as Digital Communications Adviser at SOMO, advising on online communications and collaboration. He is a specialist in data visualisation and the visual side of communications. Besides, he is managing SOMO’s websites, social media, and other online communication tools.
Before joining SOMO, René worked as Senior Communications Officer at Stichting NOB and as Communications Officer at Ymere. He holds a Master’s in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, and has completed professional training in communications.
