Nicola Barrett is SOMO’s Senior Adviser on Fundraising and Development.
Prior to SOMO, Nicola spent 10 years leading Amnesty International’s engagement with trusts and foundations. She has since worked as a consultant, supporting a variety of international NGOs with their donor engagement and strategic development.
Nicola initially worked first for a European funding programme then as a strategic development consultant for a Netherlands-based foundation. She is APMG (International AgilePM Foundation) qualified, has a BA (Hons) in French and Politics, and speaks fluent French.
