Fair trade coalition disappointed that European Parliament supports CETA

The Coalition for Sustainable and Fair Trade is disappointed by the European Parliament’s support for CETA, the trade and investment agreement with Canada. MEPs have missed an opportunity to stand up for the interests of the climate, workers, farmers and consumers.
CETA now has a majority in the European Parliament, but this does not automatically mean that the treaty will ultimately be approved. The parliaments of all member states still must decide on CETA.
