Madhuri is an all-round campaigner with a passion for environmental and social justice. Before joining SOMO, she worked as a Microplastics Campaigner for the Plastic Soup Foundation for over 6 years.
She was responsible for managing the Beat the Microbead campaign against intentionally added microplastics in cosmetics.
Madhuri holds a Research Master’s degree in Gender and Ethnicity from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University.
